Mark your calendar for the 2012 Bikers for Babies, Sunday, September 16 at Kansas Speedway.
Since it's inception in 1995, the motorcycle community in Kansas City, with the support of our generous sponsors, has raised more than $5.6 million for the March of Dimes mission of healthy babies through Bikers for Babies. In 2011, more than 3,500 motorcycle riders braved the cold and pouring rain at Kansas Speedway for the 17th Annual Kansas City Bikers for Babies. Riders and sponsors contributed more than $540,000. Kansas City boasts the most successful Bikers for Babies event in the country and the largest charity ride in the Midwest!The 2012 Bikers for Babies ride will again be led by Johnny Dare of 98.9 The Rock KQRC-FM, honorary chairman for the past 17 years. The ride will feature a 100-mile all-Kansas route beginning and ending at Kansas Speedway. After the ride, participants will enjoy a complimentary lunch, live music, a bike show and vendor expo.
The American Motorcycle Association-sanctioned ride is sponsored nationally and presented in Kansas City by Farmers Insurance and 98.9 The Rock.
